The event-weekend charter desk of a Part 135 operator

Box Seat Jets is the events and leisure desk of ENG Aviation Group, Houston, Texas. ENG operates its own Part 135 fleet of Citation Excels out of Houston Hobby and Dallas Addison and has flown the Texas calendar for years: F1 in Austin, the Texas-OU weekend, the Houston rodeo, ski season in Aspen and Vail, and more trips to Cabo than we can count.

Our clients kept asking for bigger groups and bigger weekends than an Excel can carry: the Super Bowl with the whole company, the Derby with twelve, a bachelor party of forty to Nashville. So we built a desk that sources heavy jets and airliners from operators we audit the way we are audited, and handles the event-weekend logistics ourselves.

What that means for you

• The right airport, not the nearest. Event weekends are decided by slots, parking and curfews. We have been on the wrong side of each and plan accordingly.
• Operators we would put our own staff on. Certificate, safety rating, crew in type, insurance, every time.
• Honest sizing. When eight of you fit a super-midsize, or our own Excel, we say so. When sixty of you need an airliner, we broker that too.
