Getting in and out
Aspen-Pitkin County (ASE) is a mountain airport: daylight-only operations for most charters, a 95-foot wingspan limit that rules out the largest heavies, and weather holds that can send you to Rifle. Super-midsize jets like the Challenger 350 and our own Citation Excels fly it routinely. Can a Gulfstream land in Aspen?
The G280 and G450 can; the G550, G600, G650 and the Global family exceed the 95-foot wingspan limit and use Eagle County (EGE) instead.
How long is the flight from Houston to Aspen?
About two hours ten minutes on a super-midsize jet; two hours on a heavy into Eagle.
How far in advance should I book a private jet for Aspen & Vail ski season?
For marquee events, four to eight weeks ahead gives you aircraft choice and sane positioning costs; inside two weeks we can still fly you, but slots, parking and crew duty limits start deciding for you.
